how we use electronic mail
Marketing Campaigns
Every Bird Records:
- Only send electronic mail with consent (unless contacting previous customers about our own similar products, and we offered them an opt-out when they gave us their details).
- Offer an opt-out (by providing an unsubscribe link) and act on this promptly.
- Keep a ‘do not contact’ list of anyone who opts out or unsubscribes from our electronic mail.
- Screen against our ‘do not contact’ list and we don’t send electronic mail to anyone who has asked us not to.
- Don’t disguise or conceal who we are when we send electronic mail.
- Don’t ask or encourage people to forward our electronic mail marketing to their friends or family.
- Don’t ask people to give us the contact details of their friends and family to use for electronic mail marketing.

How to unsubscribe
If do not wish to unsubscribe from further communication, please click ‘unsubscribe’ at the very bottom of the email from Every Bird Records.
Media releases
Separate to our marketing campaigns, Every Bird Records CIC sends out occasional media releases to organisations with publicly available email addresses (i.e. published on their website). These organisations included:
- broadcast media (radio stations, TV, internet and other broadcast media);
- limited companies, charities, trades unions and CICs registered in the UK; and
- government bodies.
Media releases (also referred to as news releases) cover things that have already happened or a broader range of topics that are relevant, timely, and newsworthy to a target audience, including politics and human interest stories relevant to women in music.
These media releases are intended to further the work of Every Bird Records CIC in the community interest for example:
1) to promote the interests of women in music and equality;
2) funded offers of support and training for women;
3) comment on relevant Government policy and / or industry practice; and
4) to raise awareness of issues related to females in the music industry.

If you have received a news release from us and do not wish to receive any further communication, please click ‘unsubscribe’ at the very bottom of news release to opt out of future news releases from Every Bird Records.
