Anita Abram is an independent musician, illustrator, image creator, radio presenter and founder of Every Bird Records CIC. She has experience in education and as a Suffolk UK based arts charity director (The Curwen Print Study Centre) from 2017 to date. Her background in activism and music brings valuable artistic expertise to Every Bird Records CIC. Anita records under the Every Bird Record Label.
Sam Crane is an independent associate heading up the CIC podcast development, performance, and monetisation advice. She is musician with 20 years experience and is a producer who recorded an album of 10 original songs in 2022. Sam’s interests include:
Evie is a freelance consultant and virtual assistant (VA) helping businesses across the UK to grow, succeed, and reach their goals. Working alongside UK Ducks In A Row Ltd, Evie assists Every Bird Records with a range of services to drive forward our commercial strategy and support our artists.
Reilly is a composer, musician, video editor, writer, and folklorist. She has independently released EPs, albums, audiobook soundtracks, film scores, and singles, and makes her own video clips. In 2023 she was a mentee through the AIR Women in Music Mentor Program, with Anna Laverty as her mentor. She has a Graduate in Diploma in folklore, and has pursued independent study through Udemy, the Australian Institute of Music, and Isobel Anderson’s Home Recording Academy (HRA). Reilly is a co-moderator for the student-run community Facebook page of HRA Alumni. In 2013, Reilly co-founded the Australian Fairy Tale Society, she has presented at National Conferences, and her literary publications include the Griffith Review and Timeless Tales Magazine. She worked as an editor for rage - Australia’s longest running music TV program, for several years. Lead singer of numerous bands in the 90s, including a live performance on Recovery. She runs MeadowLark Soundscapes based in the Blue Mountains, near Sydney, Australia.
Reilly looks forward to helping the international community of female, and female identifying, musicians, offering a wide range of skills and experience.
Marisa Batson is the trustee of a young person's charity, The Mix in Suffolk UK, from 2012 to date, and the chair (since 2016). She brings extensive charity experience to the CIC. She also has decades of experience in education and health, as well as social media and marketing. Her leadership skills and passion for supporting people is an assets to the organisation.
Luke Concannon is an independent coach, musician, and singer-songwriter; his latest solo album is ‘Ecstatic Bird in the Burning’. Luke is also well known for inspiring a young Ed Sheeran, and Ed and Luke still work together running songwriting workshops from time to time.
Luke first came to prominence as one half of the band Nizlopi, a duo with his friend John Parker.. In 2004, they released their first album ‘Half These Songs Are About You’. JCB became a single from that album to reach number one on the UK Singles Chart on the 18 December 2005. It eventually won the duo an Impala Platinum award recognising sales of over 500,000 copies of the song across Europe in 2007.
Luke’s musical background and experience as a performer will bring valuable insights and knowledge to the CIC's support for artists.
Pete Moody is an independent voice coach, musician and producer and has extensive experience in the music industry. His expertise in vocal coaching and performance will contribute to the development of artists within Every Bird Records CIC.
Pete has proved his ability to transform voices on many National TV Shows and at Theatres across the UK. Previous students include Chart Topping Performers and West End Stars. The knowledge and art of singing is now available to everyone. Along with amazing techniques, Pete also offers production and professional advice.

Elisa B crafts lyrics, poems and plays and is Every Bird Records‘ resident writer. She helps artists develop their lyrics or can work in collaboration on new songs. Elisa informs her writing process by drawing on her extensive life experience, and observations of the human condition. Elisa holds a masters level professional qualification.
Catherine is an independent entrepreneur, music promoter and radio presenter working worldwide. She’s run her own business CJC Promotions since 2015, which specialises in helping independent artists get their music on radio stations.
Helen is Interim Head of the Media Department and Associate Professor in Film and Media at Middlesex University. Helen teaches on the BA Film programme. She is also Academic Lead on the Changing the Culture Initiative: Shifting attitudes, values and behaviours and creating more inclusive and tolerant communities. She coordinated the Media Department's involvement in "No Home for Hate", funded by the HEFCE Catalyst Fund, in 2017/18. Building on this work, Helen works with CCI to bring these agendas into the curricula to increase student engagement and awareness around EDI in ways that are meaningful and transformative. Partnership projects with the VCPB, Safe4Faith with the Metropolitan Police, ThriveLdn for World Mental Health Day, have resulted in KE projects for and with her students. Helen is an artist/filmmaker working predominantly in film, her practice is anchored around intimate narratives: often understated or tacitly conveyed, often working with marginalised or minoritised voices. Dr Helen Bendon is available to the directors to advise on appropriate use of the CIC’s monies in support of artist applicants.
Ophelia is an independent artist, illustrator and digital image specialist. She started with her own business, supported by her family, at a young age producing greetings card designs. She is a recent graduate of Oxford University, and provides Every Bird Records with inspiring imagery.
