Award winning photographer Jax described herself as “karaoke queen“ she’d always wanted to be a singer and came to it later in life. With a strong onstage presence and bubbly personality audiences warm to; Jax is not phased by covering the likes of Nina Simone and she’s brilliant vocally. Every Bird Records encouraged Jax to write her own songs to perform as part of her repertoire. Now crafting heartfelt lyrics, she’s loving it. As well as covering the jazz greats, Jax draws from her life experience telling her stories through her own music. “What have you done to me?’ Jax asked Director Anita Abram, who simply replied, ‘It’s them Every Bird Records Effect!’

Elisa always wanted to be a writer but didn’t have that much time with her busy family life. Every Bird Records encouraged her to write song lyrics for others. Elisa not only has natural talent for writing lyrics, it turns out she’s got a lovely singing voice too. Elisa is enjoying vocal coaching with Every Bird Records associate Pete Mo
